KYC Explained

Know Your Customer (KYC) on PinkSale is an identity verification process designed to confirm that project owners are who they claim to be.

How it Works: Project owners submit official identification documents (like a Passport or National ID) through an automated system. This is similar to the verification process required by major cryptocurrency exchanges.

Why it Matters: The primary goal of KYC is to reduce scams and rugpulls on the PinkSale platform. It acts as a deterrent because verified project owners know their identities can be linked to their projects.

Consequences of Scams: If a project team member whose identity has been verified through KYC is found to have scammed investors:

  • PinkSale will reveal their identity.
  • This information will be made public to assist those pursuing legal action or criminal charges.

For Investors: If you suspect a project is a scam and have evidence, please contact PinkSale immediately with your proof. We will investigate the claim.

For Project Owners: Getting KYC verified is highly recommended to build trust and legitimacy for your project.

Doxx Badge Explained

The Doxx badge is an additional layer of verification available to project owners on PinkSale. It encourages transparency by having owners publicly associate their identity with their project, further enhancing investor security.

Requirements for the Doxx Badge:

  1. Successfully complete the standard PinkSale KYC process.
  2. Record a video AMA (Ask Me Anything) session and upload it to YouTube.
    • The video must remain public.
    • You must show your project's community link (e.g., Telegram/Discord) in the video.
    • The video must show people asking questions. (See Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJhOj69ZkWA)
  3. Share the YouTube video link with PinkSale staff through your private support group.

PinkSale staff will review both your KYC verification video and the public YouTube AMA video. If everything matches and requirements are met, you'll receive the Doxx badge for your project listing. The Doxx badge itself is free.

Troubleshooting

  • Q: I contacted the KYC manager on Telegram but haven't received a response in 48 hours. What should I do?

  • A: Telegram message delivery can sometimes be delayed, or messages might get missed. Try sending a polite follow-up message. Ensure you are contacting the correct official manager: @babypinkpink. If issues persist, see if there are other official PinkSale support channels you can inquire through, but be wary of scammers impersonating support.

  • Q: My KYC application was rejected, but I believe I submitted everything correctly.

  • A: Reach out to the KYC manager @babypinkpink politely and ask for clarification on the reason for rejection. Ensure all submitted documents were clear, valid, and matched the information provided. Remember the refund policy states fees are non-refundable.

  • Q: My YouTube video for the Doxx badge wasn't approved. Why might that be?

  • A: Common reasons include: the video is not public, the community link wasn't clearly shown, the video didn't show interaction/questions from the community, or the person in the video couldn't be clearly matched with the KYC verification identity. Contact PinkSale support via your private group for specific feedback.

  • Q: The Telegram link @babypinkpink on Telegram doesn't seem to work.
