This guide provides step-by-step instructions for participants looking to buy tokens during an active presale launchpad on Pinksale. Understanding this process helps ensure you can participate successfully. Reading this will help you:

Steps to Buy a Presale​

Follow these steps to participate in an active Pinksale presale:

  1. Find Launchpads:

    • Connect your wallet to Pinksale on the correct network.
    • From the Pinksale homepage, click "Launchpads" => "Launchpad list".
    • Alternatively, go directly to the launchpad list: https://www.pinksale.finance/launchpads

  2. Filter for Active Presales:

    • Use the "Filter By" options to select the “Inprogress” status. You can only participate in presales that are currently active.

  3. Select and View Pool:

    • Browse the list of "Inprogress" presales.
    • Hover over the presale you are interested in and click “View” to view pool.

  4. Review Presale Information:

    • After clicking on “View Pool”, you can see all the information related to that presale. You should check everything carefully before buying.

  5. Enter Contribution Amount and Buy:

    • To buy the presale, insert the amount of BNB (or USDT, BUSD, USDC, ETH,... depending on the pool) that you want to use to buy in the “Amount” section. The corresponding amount of presale tokens will be calculated automatically below the BNB amount. Finally, click on the “Buy” button.

  6. Confirm Transaction in Wallet:

    • MetaMask will now ask you to confirm the transaction. It will also show you the fee that you are required to pay for that transaction. If you agree, then click on the “Confirm” button to finish the process.

  7. Verify Purchase:

    • After buying, you will see the changes in the “Amount” and “You purchased” sections. For this pool, the maximum buy is 60 BUSD, I purchased 60 BUSD so the result is:

  • Q1: Can I buy into any presale listed on Pinksale?
    • A: You can only buy into presales that are currently "Inprogress". Upcoming presales are not yet open for contributions, and ended/cancelled/finalized presales are closed. Some presales might also be whitelisted, meaning only specific addresses are allowed to participate.
  • Q2: What currency do I use to buy?
    • A: This depends entirely on how the project owner set up the presale pool. Check the pool page carefully. Common options include the network's native currency (BNB, ETH, MATIC, AVAX, etc.) or stablecoins (USDT, USDC). Ensure you have the correct currency in your wallet on the correct network.
  • Q3: Is there a minimum or maximum amount I can buy?
    • A: Most presales have a minimum contribution amount and a maximum contribution amount allowed per wallet. These limits will be displayed clearly on the presale pool page.
  • Q4: When do I receive the tokens I purchased?
    • A: You typically do not receive the tokens immediately after buying. You usually need to wait until the presale ends successfully and the project owner finalizes the pool. After finalization, you can return to the pool page to claim your purchased tokens. Some presales might use vesting, meaning you claim tokens over time (check the pool details).
  • Q5: Is participating in presales risky?
    • A: Yes, investing in presales carries significant risk. Projects can fail, tokens can lose value, and scams exist. Always do thorough research (DYOR) on the project, team, tokenomics, and audit/KYC status before contributing. Pinksale provides the platform but does not endorse projects or guarantee investment outcomes.

  • Q: The "Buy" button is greyed out or not clickable.
    • A: Ensure the presale status is "Inprogress". Check if the presale has reached its Hard Cap (if so, it's full). Verify if there's a whitelist and if your connected wallet address is on it. Make sure you have entered a valid contribution amount (above the minimum and below the maximum per user). Ensure your wallet is connected correctly to Pinksale on the right network.
  • Q: My "Buy" transaction failed in my wallet.
    • A: Ensure you have enough native currency (like BNB, ETH, MATIC) in your wallet to cover both the contribution amount and the network gas fees. Network congestion can cause temporary failures (try again later or with slightly higher gas). Check the specific error message on the block explorer if available.
  • Q: I bought tokens, but my balance on the pool page ("You purchased") didn't update.
    • A: Wait a few moments for the blockchain transaction to confirm fully and for the Pinksale interface to refresh. Try manually refreshing the webpage. If it still doesn't update after several minutes, verify your transaction was successful on the block explorer using the transaction hash from your wallet history. If the transaction succeeded but the page is wrong, it might be a temporary display issue; contact Pinksale support if it persists.
